Finance Director

Finance Director required for a government agency in Bristol, 6 month contract initial with option to extend The position is accountable for leading the Finance team in managing the financial and accounting policies, systems and processes, tax and regulatory requirements, payroll systems and processes and controls, ongoing management reporting and annual business plan, providing leadership and coaching to the Finance team. In addition, the position is responsible for the financial input to the Department's project requiring detailed financial modelling and provision of professional advice. The position is a member of the Executive Board, will attend the Audit Committee and is based in Bristol. Key deliverables Accounting, Payroll, Financial Systems and Financial Controls: Cash and Risk Management Management Reporting

SKILLS REQUIRED
Qualified Accountant Significant post qualification experience in a senior financial management role, preferably as a Finance director in a commercial organisation or public sector trading fund.
