For our client in Zurich, we are looking for several FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNERS for a 6 months' assignment with potential extension

Your role
Are you great with numbers and have an analytic mind? Can you quickly connect with any client group?

We're looking for someone like that to:

- Manage senior client relationships as a proactive partner and strategic advisor
- Prepare and deliver presentations for management committees as well as CFO MC
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships within the wider Finance community
- Act as a relationship-manager for the end-to-end delivery of financial solutions to the business
- Interface between the client business and centralised functions within Finance (centres of excellence and specialist functions)
- Working closely with the central finance teams (on-shore and off-shore) to design necessary reporting to support monitoring and provide insight to the overall financial performance
- Provide advice to internal clients, both proactively and as requested (including such matters as the provision of tactical or strategic advice on resource optimisation, business initiatives, market dynamics and competition and other matters)
- Develop and maintain connections to internal and external stakeholders to deliver a service that fulfils business objectives
- Provide an integrated view of financial analysis combined with non-financial information
- Identify & articulate client's need of Finance and financial information, and represent and co-ordinate on behalf of Group Finance.
- Provide independent thought leadership & challenge to business leaders to support the success of the business strategy
- Drive and challenge the inputs to plans and forecasts and engage the business in the interpretation of any resulting variance analysis
- Manage client requirements, interfacing between the business and specialist teams as required to ensure delivery of value-added solutions
- Define and take accountability for supporting ways to optimize run the bank activities or new initiatives

YOUR TEAM

Working as the Finance Business Partner you will be working directly with the respective functional Heads, COOs and Executive Committee members acting as their primary point of contact into Group Finance.
Though the role is within Finance (Corporate Center CFO), you will have a dotted reporting line to the Leads of your partner function and will be part of their Management Committees. Your ability to contribute to the management discussions & provide financial support and guidance at senior management level is therefore paramount.
Business partners are trusted and integral partners to their clients, act as the dedicated primary point of contact between Finance and the client set and leverage Finance outputs, analytics and expertise to provide them credible and commercial insight.
Your role will be to align Finance activities to your clients' requirements where applicable, to pro-actively and independently challenge strategy, assist in the optimisation of financial resources and identify levers to extract added value from their performance.
In this broad role, you will provide expertise as a financial consultant and be able to challenge and shape the controlling processes. You will also be called upon to asses required tools to be adopted and pushing down the principles, policies and procedures which are agreed upon at Group Finance level.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

* Significant and relevant reporting, controlling, accounting experience
* Strong commercial acumen, as well as knowledge and understanding of the client business and environment to contrast an internal picture with the external view.
* Change leadership mentality
* Strong analytical, problem solving and numerical skills
* Proactive, self-motivated and able to deliver high quality results in an efficient manner and under time pressure
* Excellent time management skills
* Challenge certain senior management decisions, if necessary, and adhere to accounting principles and standards
* Demonstrate the ability to communicate with and explain financial concepts to non-finance people, influence key decision-makers and to think long term
* Experience in managing a team and working within a global environment
