Finance Assistant

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join the IT Services division of our large FTSE100 organisation. Reporting to the Finance Manager the role is to provide accounts support to the finance team.

Responsibilities:
* Check the accuracy of the MI coming from the production team and ensure that problems are resolved before billing.
* Ensure all Billing and Postage reconciliations are completed accurately and within set timescales.
* Ensuring that all POs are approved by the correct members of staff and logged on the PO report.
* Ensure that all invoices are logged on EBYDOS with the correct description.
* Ensure that all print management invoices are logged on billing systems.
* Resolve supplier queries on invoices that need action by the business.
* Post month end journals for MI charges.
* Provide support the finance manager at month end and on adhoc duties.
* Ensure that sales pipeline updates are completed and communicated to the business.
* Weekly revenue flash reporting.

The finance Assistant should be studying towards AAT qualification along with at least three years finance experience relating to the role. Strong IT skills are also required including Microsoft excel. Good communication skills are necessary along with an excellent eye for detail.
