FINANCE ANALYST/PLANNER/MODELLER

Our client a Telecommunications business is looking for Finance Analysts/Planners to work within Business Partnering and with the workstream leads to ensure plans are developed in the total synergy model. Modelling the financial impacts of options proposed by the workstream Leads, challenging assumptions and ensuring the correct financial treatment of costs are applied.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-

- Challenging the assumptions of workstream leads to ensure robust business cases are developed
- Business partner with workstream leads to provide guidance on the synergy implications of decisions and options
- Build detailed bottoms up financial plans for each workstream that can be executed
- Analysis of "clean" data to understand the financial drivers behind the revenues and costs to facilitate better decision making.

SKILLS KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

- Advanced financial modelling skills across changing environments
- Strong business partnering skills used to effectively challenge and influence stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen, using insight and experience to identify key commercial drivers
- Experience of working within a fast paced environment
- Qualified Accountant
- It would be advantageous to have proven experience in the Telecommunications industry and experience of mergers or acquisitions.
