Finance Administrator - Junior Controller - Amsterdam

Financial Administrator/Admin Assistant/Junior Controller

My client is urgently seeking a confident individual to work as a Financial Administrator/junior controller, ideally with some project experience of financial control and resource management.
The role will suit a hardworking and confident individual that would like to move into a financial controller position or someone who comes from an accountancy background looking to move their career forward.
The main focus of the role will be controlling and managing projects within IT teams/departments - project experience in this field is preferred but not essential. Full support and training will be given in order for you to have a successful career within the area of commercial credit and financial control.

Skills and Experience:
*Good Accountancy knowledge and the desire to further career
*An enthusiastic 'can-do' mentality with a structured, analytical and logical approach
*Be able to assist in budgeting, financial reporting, cost and project control for IT teams
*Advanced user of Microsoft Office, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access
*Be able to assist in budgeting, financial reporting, cost and project control for IT across the global footprint of services.
*Understand the importance of accurate and effective control.
*A confident communicator able to build on relationships with IT and business colleagues alike.
*Spoken English and Dutch language skills
*Occasional travel will be required to other European locations

A permanent position will be likely for the successful individual after an initial 12 month contract
