FILENET P8 ADMINISTRATOR PORTLAND, OR 6 MONTH CONTRACT

The FileNet P8 Administrator is responsible for deploying (planning, installation, configuration and administration) P8 system suite on Dev, Test and Prod environments that caters to provide solutions for Enterprise Content Management (ECM) that includes and not limited to ILG (Information Lifecycle Governance), Document Management (DM) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

- Install, configure, and maintain IBM FileNet P8 5.2 platform (which includes Content Engine, Application Engine and Process Engine)
- Install, configure and support IBM Content Search Services and Workplace XT
- Install, configure and maintain IBM Content Collector for email (MS Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes), for SharePoint and Fileshares (NFS)
- Install, configure and maintain IBM eDiscovery and Records Management Application Suites (that include IBM eDiscovery Analyzer, IBM eDiscovery Manager, IBM Enterprise Records Manager)
- Install, configure and maintain IBM Atlas
- Configure the server components appropriately for different target environments: Development, Test, QA/Staging and Production
- Experienced with HPII, COLD
- Train other system administrators on the FileNet suite of application
- Ability to perform data and process migration from previous versions of IBM FileNet suite (eg 4.x) to the latest versions
- Evaluate, Plan and Perform data migration from IBM Imaging Services to IBM Filenet P8
- Experience with document classification and Indexing of data
- Exposure to Records Management to enforce retention policies on records based on document classification
- Ability to work and assist P8 FileNet application developers
- Work highly efficiently in multitasked environment dealing with several software and hardware systems and solutions concurrently
- Highly capable of enterprise level deployments numbering across 50-150 Servers
- Expertise in Load Balancing and Clustering in order to deliver High Availability. Incorporate HA for all systems and underlying components (including Web Servers, HTTP Servers, Database Servers etc.)
- Implement tools and scripts to assure Availability, Operations and Performance 24x7
- Develop test cases and test harness to monitor, execute and metrics on Availability, Operations and Performance
- Demonstrate good book keeping and documentation on all deployment, processes, configuration and change management
- Must be automation focused and demonstrate an attitude to build systems that work for you and not vice versa
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as MicroStrategy and Cognos
- Ability to write SQL queries, SQL scripts and understand SQL based programming

KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- 3+ years of experience in the implementation, operations, development and maintenance of IT systems and/or administration of Software functions in multi-platform and multi-system environments
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field; Appropriate additional experience beyond the minimum required experience may be substituted for education
- Proficient understanding of design, implementation and sustainment activities of IT systems
- Familiarity with infrastructure management ITIL techniques such as change management, problem management, release management, configuration management and/or system life cycle
- Experience with Unix, Windows and/or Linux environment including common suites and core business applications
- Ability to analyze, diagnose and resolve system performance problems or outages
- Must be able to effectively communicate with coworkers and all levels of management both verbally and written
- Ability to work across functional and business teams, work with small teams and excel as individual contributor as and when required

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

- Ability to analyze classification rules and setup document classes on P8 Content Engine
- Experience building IBM ECM solution using FileNet P8, ICC, eDiscovery Tools and IBM Atlas
- Scripting skills a plus (ie Gel Scripting, Xcelsius Dashboards, Java Scripting, Perl, PowerShell Scripting).
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCPIP, Routing, Switching and Firewalls).
- Experience with Clarity, BMC Remedy, SharePoint, SailPoint Identity and Compliance Management, Orion and Aternity monitoring tools
- Experience with Interface on Oracle and SQL Required
- Troubleshooting/Resolution Management
- Ability to develop, implement and adopt Systems Performance Monitoring
