FILENET ARCHITECT needed for a LONG-TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION DOES NOT ALLOW FOR WORKING REMOTELY, AS SUCH THE INCUMBENT MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE IN CLIENT'S CHARLOTTE, NC LOCATION.

MUST BE CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER.

- FileNet Architecture- high-level document management design
- Strong with database technologies

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Develop and maintain the solution architecture for FileNet related efforts, providing conceptual models and high level designs, in compliance with:
- Business and technical requirements
- Functional area architectures
- Infrastructure architecture
- Enterprise Wide Technology Architecture
- Maintainability and extensibility
- Review project detail design and construction, assuring conformance to the solution architecture
- Provide linkage to overall Enterprise Security and Architecture to ensure consistency of technology direction and process/approach with the rest of IT functions.
- Escalate design and technical issues as needed
- Direct the technical design, testing, implementation, control and maintenance of systems/software
- Ensures secure, efficient, and economic availability of applications and processing with adequate safeguards for both security and integrity.
- Lead the technical planning, evaluation, acquisition, installation, implementation, communication for implementations and enhancements
- Coordinates technical studies and evaluations of business area needs and technological alternatives with IT and business area managers.
- Approves proposed project plans, customizations, standards and procedures to ensure projects are aligned with standards and IT strategy.
- Responsible for owning/contributing to the following key deliverables:
- Architecture Checklist
- Solution Blueprint
- Integration Conceptual Design
- Application Development Standards
- High Level Designs

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Is able to resolve complex issues that require significant freedom of action and sound judgment with little management oversight.
- Is able to present information on technically complex subjects in an understandable manner in both oral and written form to senior management and any other necessary audience.
- Demonstrates the ability to absorb change and continue with positive results.
- Education: Bachelors Degree or a combination of education plus equivalent work experience
- Experience with system architecture development practices and tools
- Good analytical, consulting, change management, and communication skills
- Hands on experience with Document Management architecture
- Hands on experience with IBM FileNet
- Hands on experience with McLaren Fusion
- Hands on experience with Microsoft .NET C#
- Hands on experience with some of the following technologies:
- Web technologies (example HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, Content Management System)
- Common frameworks (Spring, Hibernate)
- Database technologies (Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, DB2, JDBC, SQL, PL/SQL)
- AG WebMethods Software
- Batch processing
- Server infrastructure (AIX, Red Hat Linux, MS Windows)
- Shell Scripting

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Prior solutions architect experience with the following aspects of IBM FileNet P8:
- Document Search, Storage, Retrieval
- Application Upgrades
- Document Migration
- Security
- Email Integration
- Workplace XT
