Filenet Application Support Analyst Job

FILENET APPLICATION SUPPORT ANALYST NEEDED FOR A LONG-TERM CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY WITH YOH'S CLIENT LOCATED IN CHARLOTTE, NC.

Please note that this position does not allow for working remotely, as such the incumbent must be able to work onsite in client's Charlotte, NC location.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- FileNet Support experience
- Strong communication skills

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for providing first level technical assistance and support to Duke employees/contractors that use FileNet and its related applications.
- Candidates should have a mix of technical and customer service skills and be excited about helping people solve technical problems.
- Day-to-day work consists of responding to customer questions, running diagnostic programs, isolating problems, determining solutions, and making decisions to escalate issues to second level support team members.
- The candidate for this position would be required to provide support during normal business and also occasionally after normal business hours.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Education: Bachelors Degree or a combination of education plus equivalent work experience
- Ability to provide technical assistance and support for incoming customer questions and problems.
- Strong customer service skills and technical troubleshooting/diagnostic skills that allow customer problems to be resolved quickly.
- Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users via phone, email, or in person.
- Ability to write high quality knowledge base articles that describe common solutions to customer problems and issues.
- Skills necessary to install and remove software from customer workstations including document management applications and diagnostic software.
- Candidate should have the ability to easily manage multiple customer issues at one time.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products.
- Strong working knowledge of BMC Remedy for managing customer incidents.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent direct work related experience

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Previous experience with FileNet and/or Fusion
- Should have skills necessary to perform basic SQL queries on databases.
- Should be able to write simple Windows batch file or Power Shell Scripts to automate tasks.
- Should be able to create ad hoc reports using reporting tools.
