Field Technician/Troubleshooter

Projektbeschreibung
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- The Field Technician is an independent and competent troubleshooter, who has to perform the following field activities: corrective and preventive maintenance, planned works as well as provisioning (commissioning & integration), of Multi-Customer, Multi Technology networks (RAN 2G/3G, Aerials MicroWave, IP, modems, ), environment (HVAC, Powersupply AC/DC, ...) in order to maintain customers network availability and quality according to the contractual KPIs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor or master degree in engineering or equivalent by experience in mobile telecom
TECHNICAL COMPETENCES
- Electrical Skills (replacing circuit-breakers, batteries, recabling, repatching,)
- Basic PC and IP network knowledge
- Handy person: small civil corrective and installation works on site environment: lockers, door issues, power cabinet installs,..
- Knowledge and experience with troubleshooting of the Aerial Path (RF, VSWR/DTF measurements,)
- Knowledge and experience with the exploitation of SHDSL modems, Ericsson µW equipment, IP modems,
- Knowledge and experience with the exploitation of Huawei BTS/NodeB equipment
CANDIDATE MUST ALSO HAVE
- Fluent spoken and written English, French and/or Dutch is mandatory
- Practical knowledge of MS Office applications (word, excel, outlook)
