Field Engineer - Operations Delivery - Fibre

Our market leading client is currently in need of a strong Fibre Field Engineer for a permanent role in Melbourne.

The primary activity of this position is to represent Field Operations in field-based assurance and support activities of the NBN Network. This includes making decisions to accept technical repair solutions and build quality.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - - Tertiary qualifications or significant experience in telecommunications related disciplines.
- Technical knowledge across SDH/PDH, DWDM, GPON and/or Ethernet
- Very strong experience with active networks
- Demonstrated knowledge of power and telecommunications code.
- ACMA Registration.
- Demonstrated knowledge of service restoration in a GPON, Satellite and/or wireless consumer network.
- Demonstrated knowledge of service restoration in a core aggregation and distribution network.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
