FAST Search for Sharepoint Consultant (Professional Level)

Our client in the Pharma industry is currently looking for a Sharepoint Specialist with FAST Search technology for a challenging project in Basel (Switzerland).

Project description:
Initiative to build services and application components providing our client with very powerful facilities for searching for and visualizing the relationships between experimental results, compounds in all research applications.

Mandatory experience:

- Minimum 3 years of experience with SharePoint
- Minimum 1 year (or 1 major project) of experience with FAST Search for SharePoint
- Minimum 1 year of experience with FAST ESPin a multi node environment
- Expertise with Fast Search for SharePoint Multi-Node Architecture
- Expertise with PowerShell Scripting Language
- Expertise with Fast Search for SharePoint installations (how many completed? size of the cluster in rows/columns? number of documents stored in the cluster?)
- Good knowledge of Fast Search for SharePoint performance tuning, Creating and Crawling content sources (types of content sources crawled? content connectors used?) and also C# programming
- Some experience with FAST Search Query Search Service Application (Query SSA) including crawling and indexing.

Preferred skills:

- Non-Microsoft Enterprise Intranet/web search system expertise welcome (eg Apache Lucene, SOLR)
- Experience with scientific or drug discovery application development welcome.

Project details:

- Start: ASAP
- Contract duration: 6months +
- No remote work, normal working time is 5 days/40 hours per week in the Basel office
- Hourly rate, best offers considered for interviews
- Working language: English.
