Advantage Resourcing is seeking a candidate to work with a Rail Franchise as a Fares and Customer Benefits Manager. Basic details below but please contact Martin Hartshorne for more information.

*Length: 9 months
*Rate: up to £540 per day
*Clearance: BPSS, Disclosure Scotland
*Location: Westminster

The Fares and Customer Benefits Manager will manage the relationship with the franchise operator in relation to fares (regulation and pricing) and marketing franchise requirement and to provide expert advice on passenger revenue implications for changes to the Franchise. This role reports to the Business Change Manager and will provide support to the Rail Commercial division.

In order to undertake these tasks the job holder will be required to provide strategic oversight of fares and marketing issues on the franchise network and work with the Department's Fares team to ensure consistency of approach across train operators to facilitate the Department's objectives.
Ideally you will have Knowledge of National Rail, Ticketing and Settlement Agreements, understanding of railway fares and ticketing retailing systems.
