Facilities Technical Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work product supplied must be of an exacting standard, where neatness and organization are of primary importance.

SKILLS

Fundamental civil engineering background with the ability to understand equipment drawings, floor plans, architectural plans, building schedules (wiring, HVAC, Lighting, etc...). Fundamental electrical/communication system background with the ability to read and understand the content of racking drawings, rack face drawings, floor plans, under floor/overhead cable tray assemblies, installation methods, grounding, cabling, cable dressing/grooming, punch block layouts/boards, jack fields, power distribution and control, etc. Able to work with and understand the basic installation tools required to perform this type of work, including but not limited to, mechanical assembly (wrenches, pliers, torque wrenches, uni-strut assemblies, anchors, light duty power tools, etc...) and electrical assembly (punch blocks, punch tools, meters, connectors, wire/cable assemblies, RF cabling and connectors, etc..). Must be able to work with and supervise other individuals and/or teams. Tech. schools are fine, as is life experience.
