Facilities Mechanical Technician Job

FACILITIES MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Hillsboro, OR.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Mechanical system startup experience
- Functional acceptance test (FAT), commissioning

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Facilities Mechanical Technician will be responsible for facility operations support and commissioning start up activities for mechanical systems.
- Focus on supporting mechanical system startups and will be responsible for performing and supporting functional acceptance test (FAT), start-up, commissioning.
- Facilities Mechanical Technician will also be responsible for tuning, repairs, and possibly preventative maintenance on a wide variety of building and facilities mechanical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
- Facilities Mechanical Technician will also work with a senior mechanical technician assigned to start up a piece of equipment or system.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a mechanical technician or mechanical engineering background that provides familiarity with mechanical systems.
- Trained and current certification in control of hazardous energies program.
- Familiar and comfortable working from schedules, blueprints, diagrams, sketches, codes ordinances, procedures, plans, and from verbal/written directions to perform tasks in any area assigned.
- Able to maintain detailed, accurate records, and prepare necessary reports.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in a previous semiconductor mechanical startup is a plus.
- Familiarity and access to Spec System.
- Familiar with commissioning process.
