External Planner - Beerse, Belgium

External planner reports to Senior Manager external Supply planning EMEA

Main activities

Responsible for Planning and purchase orders to external leverancies

Place timely purchase orders taking into account the agreed Lead-time and quantities

Weekly evaluates the impact of changes in demand and/or purchase orders and takes correct actions where necessary to prevent stock breaks

Ensures that correct bulk and raw material needs are forwarded

Ensure that the planning parameters are properly maintained

Can work out scenarios in case of supply issues and provide the necessary prioritizations

Provides support for the launch of new codes and/or product transfers

Delivers on a monthly basis the mid and long term purchase plan to the supplier-provides communication with various internal stakeholders (customers/affiliates, warehouse, Quality,...)

Participates, where necessary, in projects linked to the external supplier-ensures that all (IT) processes linked to the external supplier are properly conducted, and if necessary take decisions to further improve and optimize the processes

Required knowledge and Qualifications

Bachelor in logistics, supply chain Management, or equivalent by experience

Relevant experience ininternational supply chain

Knowledge of SAP and OMP

Office usage Knowledge

Good knowledge of spoken and written English profile and properties
