MY DUTIES:
- The Associate Specialist will ensure quality assurance in defining financial business processes.
- He will support the identification of financial business process improvements and coordinate the monitoring of key operational processes (financial aspects of grant management).
- The candidate will collaborate with different stakeholders (country teams, local fund agents, strategic partners).
- He will facilitate knowledge sharing by developping and maintaining Financial document Repository (FAQ, guidelines, etc).
- He will deliver trainings to different stakeholders and provide information to support queries from auditors and other stakeholders.
MY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Finance, Economics or accounting qualification (Chartered Accountant, CPA, CFA, Fédération des Experts-Comptables Européens)
- Demonstrated experience in business process design, project management of process change initiatives
- Experience of flow of funds and associated risks in grant implementation and transformation projects
- Experience of using plug-in and other analytical reporting tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of English and good working knowledge of French
