Excel VBA Front Office Developer - Quant/Equities

EXCEL VBA FRONT OFFICE DEVELOPER - QUANT/EQUITIES/DERIVATIVES - This is a long term contract opportunity for an experience Front Office Trade Floor Developer to join a global Trading team. The role will involve the development of Excel based trading and sales tools

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Extensive Excel VBA development experience in a Front Office environment
- Experience in quantitative software development with Java and possibly Scala, additional languages like C++ or Python a plus
- Solid mathematical education as well as experience with mathematical software (like R) and mathematical software libraries
- Knowledge on derivative instruments, their fair valuation and the relevant market data such as interest rate curves, volatility surfaces, etc.
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Providing quantitative support for trading and sales desks on the trading floor
- Developing and maintaining Excel-based trading and sales tools used on the trading floor
- Developing Server Side quantitative logic to support the functionality of the tools
- Maintaining and developing interfaces to various market systems
- Generating product or portfolio reports based on historical data, including back-testing and simple analytics
