Excel VBA Developer (57997)

Our Client, an investment bank is looking for an Excel/VBA Developer. No specific financial experience is needed but they would like the candidate to come from industry from a cultural standpoint. Candidate should have an understanding of forecasting and resource management(with in any industry), this point would be way more important than any specific product knowledge.Role: Excel/VBA Developer Rate: 625-700 C2C Location: NYC Length: 6 Months + Main Function Taking direction from both lead developer and FICC Technology COO office, support the development and continued build-out of a workforce and project forecasting and reporting tool. Main Duties Development responsibilities: * Create SQL database to support workforce reporting tool * Create SSIS tasks to import file feeds to SQL rather than Access * Create SQL stored procedures to replace some of the more complex (and time intensive) Access queries * Unique user permissions * Automated report creation Ongoing maintenance responsibilities: * Weekly load of input files * Static data updates Other responsibilities * Ongoing support Person Requirements Must have: 3 - 5+ years of Access 2007, Excel 2007, VBA, and T-SQL Good to have: SharePoint 2007, MSSQL Server, SSIS Nice to have: Nintex, SharePoint Designer, experience working with offsite users, documentation, user training, project management
