Excel Developer - VBA/SQL - Financial Services

My National financial institution based in the CBD of Sydney seeks an experienced Excel VBA Developer for a 3-6 month contract with a strong possibility of extension.

If you have extensive experience Developing with Excel/VBA, SQL & Access than this is an ideal position for you to advance with in your career..

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Exceptionally strong Excel VBA knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of algorithm design
- Solid (non database specific) SQL understanding including Database design and programming
- Design and generation of data reports from base data of large volume.
- Automating the work in the Project Team using VBA in Microsoft Office.

This is an incredibly business facing role requiring a clear thinker that has the ability to quickly spot system inefficiencies. You must then utilise your initiative to resolve them in the most proficient way possible with little or no impact on the business.
