Excel Developer

An opportunity is available for an Excel Specialist to join an exciting organisation and assist with a project where outstanding Excel skills are required by the Client.

The successful candidate will be required to work as part of the Operations Team providing a comprehensive service in the preparation and production of student progress data and analysis, examination result analysis and KPI's and analysis to meet the organisations needs.

Candidates wishing to apply must be able to assist in all phases of the development cycle of new system applications, from requirement analysis, through to roll out and maintenance. Therefore exceptional analytical skills combined with a structured methodical approach and attention to detail will be required.

This is not a role for someone with Basic Excel skills. The client views this opportunity as a very specialised vacancy and will expect candidates who apply to have exceptional Excel development skills.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

Excellent Knowledge of Excel (2007), and VBA in Excel; knowledge of MS Access development, knowledge of application support and implementation experience, writing reports using tools such as Access, SQL, Crystal, Excel and built in report writers.

Experience of the Education sector would be an advantage but is not essential. Please note the successful candidate will be required to pass a CRB check prior to starting this post.
