YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT
You will work within ITS/Domestic Products business unit and be part of IT Lending department. Your internal customers are end-users of Operational Back Offices, you will develop and maintain their office tools and applications.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As application/tools developer you carry out the following tasks:
MAINTENANCE OF APPLICATIONS AND TOOLS:
- Maintenance of applications/tools (in VBA, VB.NET, C#.Net, Oracle, MS SQL Server) accordingly to the technical, functional requirements and architecture.
- You build/update the functional and technical specification of these applications/tools.
OPTIMISATION OF THE EXISTING APPLICATIONS AND TOOLS:
- You are to identify the possible way to improve the applications/tools and you are capable to take the right actions.
- You perform life cycle management accordingly to the latest standard.
- You are capable to advise your end-users and guide them in case of misuse.
- You create/perform update of technical documentation.
- You are able to build and run unit and user acceptance tests.
SUPPORT END-USERS:
- You have the sufficient knowledge to install and maintain your applications/tools. That knowledge allows you to perform incident management and solve the detected issues of the applications/tools
- You help and support all customers in the context of your applications/tools
YOUR PROFILE
Knowledge and experience
BACHELOR IN IT OR 5 YEARS' EXPERIENCE AS APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER.
PERFECT KNOWLEDGE IN C# .NET, VB, ORACLE, MS SQL SERVER, AND MS ACCESS, EXCEL, WORD AND POWERPOINT.
YOU ARE ABLE TO BUILD AND RUN UNIT AND USER ACCEPTANCE TESTS
YOU ARE BILINGUAL DUTCH AND FRENCH
Competencies
You are a creative and self-governing collaborator hat is able to set priorities on your own. You are stress resistant and can work under pressure and maintaining the quality of your job in any situation. You have good communication skills (oral and written) and understand your customers' needs.
You are proactive and customer centric.
