European Sales Manager - Small Wind

I am now looking for a European Sales Manager to be home based with a large portion of travel across Europe for a leading small wind turbine manufacturer and distributor. The role will be strictly autonomous and will cover most European countries with a view to grow operations world wide. You can be based in any central or Northern European country however being based in the UK is of preference to my client. The role is with in a well known and still rapidly growing turbine manufacturer. A salary of £45K + an excellent commission structure is in place which will allow you to earn up to £75K. You will be focusing your attention on new business for their sub 20Kw turbine. The primary objective for this role is to increase new business and to grow my clients presence across Europe and potentially further a field in time. They have an excellent reputation in some major European countries and they are looking to take this to the wider market with the same results. You will be mainly selling to end users off grid and also through distribution channels across Europe. A background in the small or medium wind power sector is a must and you will need to have experience selling wind products in to European countries and developing new business overseas. A background solely in UK sales will not be sufficient. This really is an urgent requirement for my client as they need the right candidate in the role immediately to hit the ground running, you will need to be self motivated and have experience working in an autonomous role previously. It is important that you are comfortable with a high amount of European travel and you have a real door knocking approach to winning new business.
