European Lawyer/Legal Advisor

Background
Our client is currently recruiting for a Legal advisor within their central legal team with the prime responsibility for advising the European team. You will also required to provide advice and legal support across the business, contributing to know how and assisting with the provision of training on areas of expertise.

Main Duties/Responsibilities
* Provide advice and support to the European team on the interpretation of Community law relevant to occupational pensions and its interactions with the domestic law governing occupational pension schemes in the context of European reform proposals. Provide advice on interpretation of EIOPA governance structures, proposals for new regulatory powers and technical standards. Provide specialist Public Law Data Protection Act 1998, Human Rights Act 1998 and Freedom of Information Act 2000. Good regulation principles and best practice. Experience of working with risk frameworks and associated processes

Formal Qualifications Required
Qualified Lawyer
