ETL DEVELOPER (INFORMATICA)

Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the finance industry.

We are looking for a Senior ETL Developer. For this contract position based in Zürich, our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Description:

Be part of the Solution Architect/Software Engineering team where the main client is Financial Accounting CH. In this role you work closely together with the business analysts/requirements engineers.

Responsible for the development of the new General Ledger data including supporting the solution architect with the design, the Datamodelling, interface agreements, etc. Implementation has to be done according to the CS processes defined for DWH standard platform.

Design and implement the new Swiss General Ledger Reporting Data Mart

Ensure production stability after go live

Work closely with solution architect and other solution engineers in the team

Must:

- Several years of design and development experience in Oracle based DWH/Datamarts
- Strong Knowledge of ETL processes, DWH job controls and workflow optimization (Informatica Power Center 8.6)
- Strong development skills in Oracle 11g, SQL and PL/SQL
- Strong knowledge in Datawarehousing concept
- Team player and ability to work in international and a heterogeneous team
- be structured and elaborate
- Ability to understand business requirements and to transform them into State-of-the-Art Data Mart solutions
- Experience with quality management tools, change management tools and versioning
- English (written and verbally)

Nice to have:

- Financial Accounting experience
- Experience with reporting tools (OBIEE)
