ETL Developer - Informatica Powercentre
This is a 6 month contract initially with a view to extension.
WHAT YOU NEED - - Informatica Power Centre 9.5+ Development.
- Mapping Designer/debugger, Workflow Manager.
- Performance Tuning.
- Adding components to a production environment that does not have Team Based development.
- Experience with Oracle combined with Informatica.
- SQL/PL/SQL query performance tuning.
- Use of Hints, WITH Statements and Upserts.
- Debugging Stored Procedures.
- Schema Separation, Indexes, Table partitions.
- Adhere to development standards.
- Data quality standards, unit testing.
- Ability to work closely with stakeholders from various teams within the company, with external customers and 3rd party vendors.
- Data warehousing skills (Kimball).
- Surrogate Keys, Slow Changing Dimensions type 2 and 7.
- Linux experience in terms of Informatica.
- Documentation
- Test plans, Production Drops - step by step rollout guides and roll back plans
- The ability to write a test plan before coding begins
- Excellent attention to detail
- Understanding requirements, Testing - source versus target; records volumes, KPI values, aggregations.
- Ability to manage expectations and meet deadlines.
DESIRABLE SKILLS - - Telco experience
- Basic understanding of LTE
- MME
- CSFB
- VOLTE
- GTP
- Business Intelligence report development.
