Estimator

A Fortune 500 energy company is currently seeking a nuclear Estimator at the Robinson Nuclear Plant in Hartsville, SC. This project is scheduled to last 1 year, with the possibility of extension. Per diem and mobilization / demobilization will be available for qualified candidates. Actual pay rate will be commensurate with experience, so all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Identify areas of incomplete scope by developing and documenting essential scope, cost, and schedule assumptions necessary to complete total cost Owner estimates
- Prepare all material and labor estimates for self performed work
- Assist project managers with scopes of work
- Validate other contractors estimates

REQUIREMENTS

- 5+ years estimating experience in a nuclear power plant
- Bachelors degree & professional certifications preferred
- Experience in quantity take-offs (multi-disciplines), work break down structure, verification of installed quantities, engineers cost estimates and detailed competitively bid firm price, cost plus estimates and change order review
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and other commonly used computer software
- Timberline experience is also preferred and Monte Carlo simulation analysis
