Estates Project Manager

Our Client; 
A charity based in south west London is looking for an experienced Estates Project Manager to develop, check briefs and deliver engineering based capital works projects. The majority of the schemes are of value under £200,000.

Overall; it will be your role to:
* Co-ordinate and deliver capital works projects as per the development plan
* Develop client department's brief to achieve satisfaction of the Corporate Plan, timescales, budgets and operating standards
* Co-ordinate with external contractors and consultants associated with the development and implementation of the capital projects
* Liaise with other departments within the charity to ensure projects are delivered with optimal risk and minimal operation disruption to site
* Liaise with building maintenance section regarding materials, systems, processes being used on capital projects
* Liaise with building maintenance section with regards to interfaces with existing systems and day to day operations of the estate
* Liaise with building maintenance section with regards to handover and commissioning of the building projects
* Managing and reporting progress and cash flows for capital projects
* Attending project progress meetings and communicating the impact of the project to all relevant parties
* Manage the overall risk of the projects and maintain a risk register of the risks identified and the actions taken

In order to be considered you will:
* Have a degree or equivalent professional qualification in a recognised engineering discipline
* Be a member of a recognised PMI or recognised engineering institute
* Have significant and proven project management experience covering capital refurbishment work
* Working knowledge of current H&S and Environmental legislation as it is applied to building and engineering projects
* Have experience and knowledge of leading and managing projects on significant historic buildings.
* Have experience of working on an estate where member of the public are present
* Have experience of working for a public sector organisation
* Have a PRINCE2 qualification
