Ertms Onboard Specialist

We are looking for experienced ERTMS Onboard Specialist that would be engaged in a large implementation project of the ERTMS on the Norwegian railway network.

MAIN TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Support the technical team in the ERTMS Onboard project with technical expertise
- Participate in finalizing the technical specifications for the RFQ
- Support the technical team in the evaluation and negotiating phase
- Participate in discussions and collaboration with supplier

Hired resources may also be assigned other appropriate tasks that are adjacent to these, or necessary additional tasks that fall under the same area of expertise.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience from other European ERTMS Onboard projects
- Experience of complex procurement processes and production of tender documents for ERTMS onboard system
- Experience of implementing ERTMS Onboard technology and associated processes (eg design, manufacturing, installation, test, approval and certification of ERTMS solutions)
- General experience and knowledge of rail vehicles, on-board systems, on-board technologies and related services
- High level of English language competence (written and spoken)
