EPIDEMIOLOGY SCIENTISTS (NEURO, GENETIC, CARDIOVASCULAR) needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Jackson, MI.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop a funded research program complementary to client objectives.
- Participate in research activities for funded and non-funded projects.
- Publish research findings in high-impact journals.
- Present research results at national scientific conferences.
- Write or manage the writing of quarterly progress reports and annual reports to communicate with funding entities.
- Collaborate with investigators, and assist students and fellows in mentored projects.
- May be required to handle segments of human resource management which includes supervision, direction, and development of professional staff, non-professional staff, and students.
- Maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in neuroscience, Alzheimer's and dementia research and clinical care, to maintain and enhance professional expertise.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- M.D., Ph.D. or relevant doctoral degree.
- Outstanding academic credentials and appropriate post-doctoral research experience.
- Special consideration will be given to individuals with expertise and research interests in the following areas: brain aging, cognitive decline and dementia; vascular factors in brain aging and dementia; and elucidation of racial disparities in cardiovascular disease and dementia.
- Ability to secure extramural funding.
- High level of analytical ability to design and conduct research projects.
- Proficient in carrying out independent and collaborative research within a highly integrated team of scientists and clinicians.
- Competent writing skills to prepare grant proposals, research reports, and other publications, and to explain complex results to a lay audience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to relate effectively with other staff members, fellow researchers, project collaborators, research subjects and others.
