EO SCIENTIST

My Client, A leading Defence organisation based in Farnborough is urgently seeking an experienced EO Scientist to join their team for a minimum of 6 months.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Deliver work packages from the development of technical scope through to delivery of customer reports
- Act as technical lead on a range of programmes, taking responsibility for the delivery and technical merit of outputs
- Provide a materials consultancy/characterisation capability for internal and external customers
- Successful development and implementation of new or improvements to existing technologies/methods/processes
- As a laboratory room officer, ensure appropriate risk assessments are in place for all activities undertaken, storage of classified materials, and that the equipment is appropriate for the work

KEY SKILLS/QUALITIES:

- Degree/Postgraduate degree or PhD in Physics
- Demonstrable experience in the field of RF physics
- Natural analytical ability and good organisational skills
- Proven ability to work effectively on own initiative
- Team player
- Good communication skills at all levels
