An Environmental Healtha market leading Blue chip organisation based in Berkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Consultant to join a world leader on a contract basis.

The Environmental Health & Safety Consultant should be ISO14001 qualified.

Additional qualifications such as:

NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupation Health & Safety, Health & Safety Management or Environmental Management would be highly desirable.

The Environmental Health & Safety Consultant will be responsible for:
- consulting and providing advice on all aspects of the environment including fire risks, health, safety and loss prevention.
- Liaising and establishing relationships with off site health and safety specialists as and when required
- Providing advice on EHS issues to personnel both in regards to routine and non-routine engagements
- Leading investigations, generation of CAPA's and additional implementation
- Maintain communication with Senior Management to ensure they are fully informed on changes/amendments to legislative requirements surrounding Environmental Health & Safety
- Assess hazardous environments and implement suitable precautions to ensure risk is minimised
- Report and follow up critical hazards and incidents on-site to management for immediate action
- Maintain site audit plan in accordance with EHS standards to maintain compliance
- Record and analyse Environmental Health & Safety statistics to monitor performance and increase performance.
