The Environmental Engineer will be responsible for partnering with other corporate teams to:

- Inventory sites for equipment requiring registration for insignificant activity or minor source for air emissions
- Complete assessment for each location to determine what, if any regulation is triggered for air emissions
- Complete necessary paperwork to prepare and submit insignificant activity registration forms
- Maintain site by site file with all necessary paperwork including, but not limited to supporting documentation such as natural gas usage, make/model of equipment, year of manufacturer

The Environmental Engineer must be an effective communicator and send clear, concise and consistent messages, both verbally and in writing. S/He will be required to possess excellent environmental regulatory and program knowledge and demonstrates this expertise when working with Operations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- BS degree in Environmental, Chemical engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience with air permitting in multiple states
- 5+ years experience serving as an environmental technical resource, program specialist, or program manager
- Experience with RMP, Tier II, hazardous waste, Stormwater, DOT, GRI Reporting
- CANDIDATES LOCAL TO WASHINGTON ONLY

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with the FCs safety and leadership teams
- Experience in a fast paced, changing/growing organization a plus
- Experience developing environmental management systems; eg ISO 14001
- Experience demonstrating a high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
