Environmental Engineer

Small Environmental consulting firm with offices in throughout Southern CA is seeking a Senior Level Air Quality Leader to join their team This highly diverse group of professionals specializes in critical air compliance needs. Through their highly technical background they focus on permitting, compliance, modeling, auditing and operational improvement services by working closely with companies to provide flexible solutions to all sized firms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Analyzing permit-related technical and regulatory issues, and communicating those analyses within the department, with applicants, with other agencies and with the public at large; performs other duties as required or assigned
- Executing the permitting function in regards to Title V, RECLAIM, Emissions Reporting, Green House Gas etc.
- The right candidate must have experience in developing client relationships, preparing proposals and ultimately implementing projects on-time and within budget within both the public and private sectors.
- Involved in the quantification of emissions from different sources and sectors of the economy performing evaluations of alternative control techniques (both engineering and regulatory) to manage or reduce those emissions

REQUIREMENTS

- 10 to 15 years of experience in AIR quality in a senior or leadership position (preferably consulting environment)
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering or equivalent
- Technical Experience must include working knowledge of stationary source permitting and Federal, State and Local air quality regulations
- Extensive experience with permitting for Title V, RECLAIM, Annual Emissions, Reporting, Permit to Construct, Permit to Operate, etc...
- Proven track record of successful regulatory work in dealing with the SCAQMD,BAAQMD, SJVAPCD, VCAPCD, EPA, and other similar agencies;
- CPP is preferred
