Environment & Release Manager

Environment & Release Manager with agile project experience wanted for the end-to-end release management within an international bank in Zurich.

YOUR TASKS:

- Coordinating releases and deployments across Legacy platforms (HOST) and all related activities with the agile project teams
- Assessing needs and requirements of program management and development teams
- Acting as single point of contact and ensuring provision of technical infrastructure
- Ensuring availability of required test data sets in cooperation with the development and test teams (incl. anonymized/syntetic data, mock data etc.)
- Coordinating code deployments from development to testing and production environments in cooperation with the deployment teams
- Managing a small team around the above described functions (onsite and offshore)

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Master or bachelor degree in Information Technology or comparable education
- Extensive experience in release and environment management (test data environment with synthetisation requirements)
- Configuration- and deployment management skills (HOST, Java, Oracle)
- Good knowledge of Agile project approaches (SCRUM)
- Additional software engineering skills, eg PL1, Java, Oracle, PL/SQL, Webservices, XML, HTML, etc.
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is an asset
