Environment Manager

Environment Manager required to join a major programme of work for our client, a global organisation currently undertaking the re-engineering of their core business systems

Key Skills

- Solid background within a technical management position - ideally within Environment Management
- Familiarity with standard Project Management methodologies
- Demonstrable experience of large scale projects within a fast-changing, high pressure environment.
- Familiarity with technical environments, including Mainframe, Unix and Windows systems
- Excellent communication skills, able to communicate in both detailed technical language and with more business oriented colleagues

The role will involve planning, management, deployment and use of various Environments. Acting as the chief liaison between development and test teams to agree processes to be followed, and to ensure that environments are available at agreed points in time, with pre-agreed configurations available.

You will be required to build close relationships with the business and technical teams, at times acting as an intermediary between groups to help drive agreement and alignment as to how resources will be assigned and used for testing. As well as liaising with external groups/3rd party suppliers to understand the requirements that their processes place on the environment.

This is a long term engagement, based in Prague and would suit an experienced Environment Manager that has a wealth of experience of various methods and approaches such as Agile, Waterfall, ITIL, ISEB.
