ENTERPRISE OPERATIONS ENGINEER

Our client based in Dublin City Centre is currently on the lookout for an Enterprise Operations Engineer for a 10 month contract. The resource will be supporting all aspects of the Enterprise Operations Service Delivery activities with particular interest in UC4 environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Installation, administration and support of UC4
- Optimisation of UC4 environments in line with best practice
- Diagnosis and remediation of problems in UC4 environment
- Act as a contact for customers and other support teams on technical issues
- Manage incidents relating to UC4 as they arise
- Monitor and manage support queue for Enterprise Operations
- Attend meetings and reviews as required
- Share technical knowledge with colleagues

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

- 2+ years UC4 including:
- Using the User Interface
- Exporting and importing objects
- Scheduled and recurring execution of tasks
- Monitoring and controlling active tasks
- Installation of UC4 components
- UC4 Administration
- UC4 utilities including Scripting
- Process design
- 3+ years Microsoft Windows Server 2003 & 2008 technologies and administration
- 3+ years experience with Active Directory including Group Policy Management
- Enterprise Event Monitoring & Handling of the IT Infrastructure using BMC Patrol
- Data Migration using Scripting.
- Mail/User/Share management.
- Windows PowerShell 2.0
- ITIL processes and procedures
- Document Management (SharePoint)
