Enterprise Data Architect

To support our large scale IT Transformation Program, we are looking for a Senior Data Architect to serve in the Enterprise Architecture team. The candidate will be responsible for leading the design and development of data artefacts and capabilities. We are looking for someone that has a deep expertise in data management and Datamodelling.
The primary role is Datamodelling and enterprise architecture
Provide thought leadership to conceptual, logical and physical Datamodelling initiatives
Ensure the effective design and build of state-of-the-art data models
Lead work sessions with cross-functional teams
Domain Level Data Models, compliant with our Enterprise Information Model, for the domains in scope of our IT Transformation Program:
Selling
Ordering
Product Catalogue
Installed Base
Business Services for the domains in scope of our IT Transformation Program:
Business Service definition
API model
UML documentation
XSD
XML
Profile
1. Experience
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related technology-based discipline.
Previous experience (7-10 years) with various information systems disciplines including architecture design and deployment, data management and Datamodelling; preferably in large enterprise environments.
Demonstrated in-depth understanding of the principles of data management, Datamodelling, Datamodelling patterns, data governance, metadata management, data design and integration.
Experience in deployment of canonical data models within SOA environments, or so-called Business Services exposing functional capabilities in a re-usable/product-agnostic format, is a must.
Experience in product modelling and knowledge of Enterprise Product Catalogues is an asset.
Experience in Telecom at large is preferred.
Familiar with the use of data architecture analytical frameworks.
Solid knowledge of current technologies, emerging trends and architectural principles.
2. Skills/expertise
Strong understanding of how people interact with data and technology.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills (eg partnering, stakeholder management, consulting, etc.)
Demonstrated excellence in consultative, presentation, verbal and written communication
Demonstrated critical thinking and analysis
Demonstrated project management and facilitation skills
