Engineering Technician Job

ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN needed for a ONE (1) YEAR CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Rochester, NY.

THE BIG PICTURE -TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Test equipment experience to include: PXA's, Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, Digital Multi-Meters, Impedance Analyzers, and Power Meters.
- Experience with LabVIEW 10 or greater.
- Experience with board level soldering.
- The ability to interpret hand drawn and blueprint schematics.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Support design verification testing on the company product line of RF radio systems and subsystems
- Manual and automated testing with LABVIEW 10 and the execution of manual tests utilizing test equipment to include PXA's, Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, Digital Multi-Meters, Impedance Analyzers, and Power Meters.
- Understand the functionality of these tests and measurement devices and understand the concepts of LABVIEW to execute automated and manual testing based on a list of tests provided by an engineer and provide the engineer with the results from each test.
- Experience with soldering small components and will be expected to build small fixtures based on engineering designs.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- 10 years experience
- Associates Degree in a Technical discipline
- Test experience to include include PXA's, Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, Digital Multi-Meters, Impedance Analyzers, and Power Meters
- Experience with LABVIEW 10 or greater
- Experience with board level soldering.
- The ability to interpret hand drawn and blueprint schematics
- Must be a self starter, and able to work successfully with minimal supervision
- Military Experience working with radio communications or equivalent experience
