Engineering Support Technician Job

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an ENGINEERING SUPPORT TECHNICIAN to join our client in Tacoma, WA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- ENGINEERING SUPPORT TECHNICIAN will be responsible for the transfer and sorting of materials for storage and disposal.
- Engineering Support Technician will be responsible for conducting lab safety audits in a thorough and effective manner.
- Engineering Support Technician will be responsible for REPORT ANY HARDWARE issues as they arise.
- Engineering Support Technician will be responsible for lab infrastructure service coordination and other misc. support operations such as maintaining inventory of safety supplies and storage of materials.
- Other duties include, SUSTAINING OPERATIONS (INSERTING AND REMOVING CPU'S) AND MAINTAIN GENERAL CLEANLINESS AND WIRE MANAGEMENT WITHIN THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT.

Job Qualifications:

- TWO (2) YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE IN AN ENGINEERING LAB IS REQUIRED.
- MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH TEST/LAB EQUIPMENT.
- "Hands-on" position which will require physical capability such as the ability to lift up to 50lbs safely, and the use of pallet jacks to transport materials .
- Experience with Microsoft Excel.
- AutoCad experience is a plus.
- Electrical/mechanical experience.
