Engineering Project/Programme Manager

Our client are a large and rapidly expanding company and are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join their team.

This is initially a 6 month contract which may be extended for the right candidate. Our client is looking for someone who can come on board and be responsible for site works and lead a team to deliver a DAB to time, quality and budget.

The successful applicant will be expected to be accountable for the procurement, pre-staging configuration, build and commissioning as well as service transition of DAB transmitter and connectivity to a number of sites. You will deliver Terrestrial Broadcast technical builds, driving end to end delivery which will incorporate specifying, tendering and managing supply contracts ensuring best value and performance is achieved. You will also be responsible for managing a team of site engineers and project managers to deliver projects for our client.

To be considered for this role you will be an experienced Engineering Manager with proven experience of delivering large, complex engineering projects who is ideally APMP or Prince 2 certified. Contract management is also essential for the role as well as Quantity Surveying competence.

To be considered for this role you will have a full UK driving licence as travelling between sites will be required.
