Engineering Director (Mechanical) North England

Huxley Associates and one of the UK's leading names in Materials Handling Systems are looking to recruit an Engineering Director on a permanent basis for their offices in the North.With experience of Materials Handling Scheme Generation, the Engineering Director will be reporting into the CEO and will be responsible for circa 30 people, with the following reporting lines: - Electrical Engineers - Automation Engineers - Contract Engineers - Draughtsmen - Senior Mechanical Design Engineers as well as Projects & Quality. In addition, the Engineering Director will have a large input into Tenders / Proposals / Contract Management, as well as subcontracting and should also have substantial project / programme management experience. Ideally degree qualified (BEng Mech / Electrical Engineering or equivalent), Chartered & possessing previous experience of working to machinery and industry standards, the Engineering Director will be a driven individual, capable of driving growth and development both within the Engineering Department and within the company as a whole".
