Engineer (PCB Design, Digital Fluid Technologies) Job

PCB ENGINEER needed for a 6 MONTHS CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's BIO TECHNOLOGY CLIENT located in San Diego, CA

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- System design experience, especially with DIGITAL FLUIDIC TECHNOLOGIES including PCB DESIGN, SURFACE CHARACTERIZATION, AND DROPLET OPTIMIZATION

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Plans, designs, develops and tests in one of the following disciplines: hardware, electronics, system design, mechanical design or similar which support development activities at the company.
- MANAGES DIGITAL FLUIDIC PROTOTYPING DEVELOPMENT LAB.
- Assist with defining, designing, developing, testing, and VALIDATING LABORATORY SYSTEMS including both software and hardware under close supervision.
- Maintain system requirements, design, and test documentation.
- Develop, test and support development projects and participate on project teams.
- Validate data in system tests using various tools.
- Enjoys hands on testing and validation of his/her designs.
- Manage and maintain equipment in prototype development laboratory.
- Demonstrated experience with experimental design and root cause analysis.
- Assist in producing designs in accordance to established procedures.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- S./M.S. or equivalent in engineering, physics, physical chemistry, or related field.
- Zero - Five (0-5) years relevant professional experience.
- System design experience, especially with digital fluidic technologies including PCB design, surface characterization, and droplet optimization Understanding of electrical circuit design and ability to layout basic PCBs Proficiency in basic fluidics analysis is preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with Solidworks is preferred.
- Lab experience a plus.
