Energy Manager

An energy producer, trader, and distributor is currently seeking an Energy Manager to monitor, coordinate and document the implementation of Measurement & Verification activities for Energy Conservation Measures installed under Energy Savings Performance Contracts in Athens, OH. This is a 2 year Contract position, with the possibility of becoming Permanent. Local candidates only.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Collaborate with the project team to ensure that Energy Conservation Measures and the M&V scope of work is successfully implemented from project inception through Energy Conservation Measure acceptance
- Oversee and coordinate ECM M&V commissioning activities, including data collection and performance analysis through ECM acceptance
- Monitor ECM field implementation to ensure compliance with the contract documents, M&V Scope of Work and coordinate field activities associated with M&V through ECM acceptance
- Facilitate the project's transition form the construction phase to the performance phase. This includes verification of As-Built documentation needed for Post Installation and Performance Period activities

REQUIREMENTS

- BS Degree in Engineering
- 10+ years of Construction Management in the Power Industry
- Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) preferred
- Solid understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS), Energy Management Control Systems (EMCS), their configuration and sequences of operation. Experience with the integration of multiple DDC systems into a single front end is highly advantageous
- Understanding of building systems and components is required - heating, ventilating, air conditioning (HVAC), central heating and cooling plants, electrical systems, and process related systems
- Understanding of International Performance Measurement & Verification Protocol (IPMVP) and Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) M&V Guidelines is advantageous
