Introduction: The Materials & Device Techn. Development (MDT) department is part of the Research and Development organisation in Venlo. MDT assures the development of competitive products by realizing the involved print (imaging) processes with the right print quality and reliability. MDT also takes care of development and engineering of the strategic consumables and modules that are essential in the printing process. MDT makes the design and realizes the technology that is needed.

Position`s main tasks: For a new ink development, the impact of the quality of the ink-ingredients in relation to the intrinsic quality level has to be determined and secured. The main task consists of the determining the impact of batch-variations on the quality of the ink.

Tasks/responsibilities will include

-Ink formulation at lab scale
-Analysis of the inks and determining the batch-differences on the ink properties.
-Determination of the working latitudes of the ink
-Compose (additional) specifications for the ink-ingredients

Required area of education: Bachelor in the field of chemistry/chemical technology

Experience in the field of material sciences, polymer sciences or formulation is preferred

Professional skills: A Team player who feels comfortable in a multi-disciplinary environment. Pragmatic and result-oriented without compromising the quality of the work
