Reporting
* ·Take responsibility for the production of all monthly and periodic reports arising from the EMEA reporting cycle.
oWork with appropriate members of Compliance and other LOBs to obtain appropriate information in a timely manner
oMaintain strict production deadlines and have a clear view of the upcoming reporting cycle
o Compile and/or review the reports being created
§ Ensure accuracy of information, as well as general editorial skills
§ Ensure that the data provided meet the requirements of the report in terms of relevance, and usefulness of information
§ Ensure consistency within regional reports produced, and also within the wider Compliance reporting environment
oWork with appropriate management and other stakeholders on reviewing or changing documentation as required
o Carry out the work with a view to constant improvement of information provided from all stakeholders' points of view.
* ·Manage the monthly London-based Compliance Lifecycle meeting
o Understand the purpose of the meeting and act as a champion for its importance as part of the wider Compliance Framework process - partner with the International Compliance team in this respect
o Manage the logistics of the process, including managing the documentation flow, ensuring sufficient attendance, that rooms and dial ins are available, and a chair is available and informed as to the content each month prior to the meeting
o Act as the point of contact for all questions arising from any part of the process; work with the various compliance teams to iron out duplications and enterprise-wide reporting cycle clashes where necessary.
Vendor Management
* Take ownership of the coordination role for Vendor Management within EMEA Compliance
o Understand the role of Compliance within the larger vendor management process
o Act as a single point of contact for questions relating to EMEA Compliance involvement relating to the onboarding of vendors, dissemination of new regulation and any other issues
o Work to ensure consistency of approach in relation to the Vendor Management program - particularly creating and maintaining centralised documentary evidence for work performed - within EMEA Compliance, both for adherence to Vendor Management requirements, but also from a Compliance Program point of view
o Attend and maintain routines with appropriate stakeholders
Key skills
* ·Attention to detail/proven editorial skills
* ·Ability to plan widely disparate pieces of work with a strict adherence to deadlines
* ·The ability to communicate clear requirements to those providing reporting/vendor management information and to deal with queries quickly and effectively
* ·The ability to work with senior management on both reporting and vendor management issues as appropriate
* ·Good aptitude for using MS PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Excel
* ·Happy to communicate with a wide range of people throughout the department in various countries at various levels of seniority, including addressing large groups of people
* ·Knowledge of the industry, ideally some understanding of the role of Compliance within a large financial services firm
