Ember.js Front End Developer (Contract)

We are currently working on an exciting project which is using the emerging tech Ember.js. We are looking for a Front End developer who either has experience or is willing and capable of learning these skills. We think this is a good opportunity for someone to take on a commercial project whilst learning an up-and-coming technology.
The project is a single page web application for the video production industry, that allows for film makers and creatives to manage profiles and connect with employers within the industry. We are drawing closer to a beta release date and are looking to hire a suitable candidate for development of current features and expansion of new ones.
Requirements:
• Proficiency in Front End engineering skills including HTML5, Responsive CSS, Object Orientated JavaScript and jQuery
• Experience in Ember.js / Handlebars.js or strong experience in Angular.js or Backbone.js and ability to adapt.
• Cross-browser development.
• Understanding of Twitter Bootstrap
• Solid experience in web development and Front End engineering
• Web services (Restful) and API (JSON-RPC)
Desirable
• Expert MVC Frameworks
• Use of Restful APIs
• Experience in Laravel or other PHP frameworks
• Knowledge of design patterns and understanding of object oriented programming.
• Solid experience in web development and Back End engineering
• Ability to produce clean, conscious, testable code
• Experience with working with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience coding software built to scale to 10'000s of users.
• Version control Git or Subversion
• Understanding and appreciation of Agile Development
• Demonstrable experience developing web services and applications
• Use of external API's (Vimeo, Facebook, Twitter)
• Unit testing, browser testing and automated testing
• Documentation - create and update design, test and support documentation
• Optimization techniques (both in file weight and perceived/actual rendering speed) and performance measurement
Personal
• Bsc. or Msc. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Willing and able to learn new skills (technical or non-technical) when needed.
• High level of English
