Embedded System Engineer

For our customer, an international R&D company involved in cutting-edge mobile technologies, we are currently looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer (m/f)

Project Start: as soon as possible
Project duration: 1.08.16 - 30.11.16 (with a 12 month extension guaranteed)
Location: Munich

Task Description:
*Embedded Code is already saved as source in system. Our client needs an engineer with an interest in Low-Level programming - C - to work together with the Assembler in building the code.
*Managing full life cycle of the chip including design, debugging and delivery.
*Department focusses on Firmware development of semiconductor components using Assembler for protocol processing
*Working closely together with Chief Architect for planning
*Maintain firmware development environment
*Support integration on FPGA and chip
*Progress reporting and documentation of deliverables

Your Skills:
*Layer 2/Layer 3 Embedded Software Development
*Software for embedded systems (Low-Level C)
*Assembly/Assembler for Embedded Systems
*Unix Scripting - Perl
*RTL Chip Design/Integrated Circuit Design
*TCP/IP / network protocol experience

Nice to have:
*Previous experience in companies with high interaction with virtual international teams
*Flexible, "can do" approach to problem-solving
*Intel processor architecture
*Linux / Android Kernel
*R&S Test Equipment Knowledge
*Python Scripting
*C# Language
