Embedded SW (Linux) Specialist

We are urgently seeking an Embedded SW (Linux) specialist. The candidate will be part of the Embedded SW platform team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This assignment is divided in two phases:

1 Secure the startup of a crucial SW porting project, WindowsCE to Linux

1 Set strategies and WoW for the porting project

2 Monitor and support progress

REQUIRED COMPETENCE

- At least 5 years of Linux experience
- Expert level knowledge on Linux system architecture and of porting SW to Linux
- Previous experience of WindowsCE
- Good knowledge of ARM-architecture (eg Freescale, TI, etc)
- Experience from driver development: LCD, buttons, File system, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc
- Good knowledge of C++
- Previous experience from  Eclipse, Perforce, Git, Trace32, DS5, etc
- BS (MSCS preferred) or equivalent engineering degree
- Be able to self-manage and show leadership 
- Have strong analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English

PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT

Phase 1 Full time in-house assignment in Stockholm for approximately 1 month.

Phase 2 part time, on demand for approximately 3 months.
