Embedded Software Developer

Our client is the worlds leading computer components manufacturer seeking a SOFTWARE AND FIRMWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER to contribute to a custom data acquisition board interfacing to an industrial-grade single-board computer. Work includes multi-channel data acquisition, and optimization of signal processing algorithms, communications to server-based host, testing, and documentation.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- 10+ years in Embedded development, including Software Architecture, System Software Development, Firmware and Device Driver Development
- Expertise in Embedded system software architecture
- Expertise in C and C++
- Expertise with Linux/Unix
- Expertise in developing communications via USB protocol
- Experience with standard development tools: revision control, issue tracking, profilers, debugging, etc.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- Signal processing, pattern recognition, and/or machine learning algorithms on Embedded systems
- Experience with ST Microcontroller development
- Experience with Windriver Linux

This contract position is expected to be 6 months in duration.
