Our leading international Semiconductor partner is looking for Embedded Software Engineer. You will be responsible for hands-on development of device drivers for the subsystem for mobile devices. You will be part of a talented team that develop reference designs/demo platform used worldwide.

Main Responsibilities:
Co-assisting development of audio device drivers and development tools (command line interface, PC hosted GUI)
Testing audio drivers and SW tools
Development of automated test scripts for testing in different platforms.
Create branches and merging these back into trunk.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
The ideal candidate will have Linux architecture and device drive development experience as well as experience developing for the android framework. If you are an Embedded Software Engineer (Bachelor or Master degree) with 5+ years of experience working with Embedded Software and Linux ALSA

Linux device driver development
Linux architecture knowledge
Linux operating system experience for builds
Embedded Systems experience
C/C++ Development
ALSA development audio driver
Android architecture knowledge and phone or tablet S/W development experience
Customisation of Android Framework
Strong background in Embedded SW verification and validation (V-model)
Experienced in making unit, and module (functional) tests in C and python
Good Python programming skills is a big plus
Windows/Cygwin knowledgeable
C programming in Visual Studio is strongly preferred
Background in control interfaces (I2C, SPI) and digital audio interfaces (I2S, TDM, PDM) is big plus
Hands-on hardware experience debugging signals is a plus
Ability to take ownership of the activities and execute independently.
Pragmatic problem solving and good team player.
Good communication and English language skills are a must.
Proficient in Agile development method (scrum way-of-working).
